Today is the morning after Michelle and Scott’s wedding, and I can’t stop smiling.
I’ve never written a pre-edited blog post before, but I can’t stop thinking about what an incredible family they are. I haven’t even looked at the photos yet…
They’re both school teachers, in fact, that’s where they met. They work together and they believe in spending as much time with your significant other as possible. Like us, they believe that they are at their happiest when they’re together all the time.
I could go on and on about Michelle saving ferrel kittens, or Scott coaching soccer, but none of that really touches the surface of who this couple is. The moment we met Michele and Scott we fell in love, and I don’t mean with just their story, we really love them, and when we walked into their home yesterday morning, we were immediately treated like family, by Michelle and Scott, and by Scott’s two very loved children, maid of honor and best man, Em and Ty. That’s when I realized that the theme of the day wasn’t so much about a dress, or their cute matching shoes, or a even a wedding, but a marriage… it was about family and unconditional love. That’s what defines Michelle and Scott, their unconditional love for each other and their commitment to their family.
They are pieces of a puzzle called life, and they fit together perfectly. They are the perfect example of best friends in love.

Gorgeous sunset photos – the last of the “balancing” images is my favorite.
“Red headed step-child”… ha! Amazing work throughout! Just unbelievable! Also, that cat looks too cute to be real.
i really loved looking through these. there is so much love between them, and you captured it so well.
Those sunset shots are jaw dropping gorgeous! I love that they took a picture with you right after their ceremony!
love all of the emotions in these! and that has got to be the cutest kitten of ever!
At first all I wanted to say was ‘awesome forest’ and ‘I want to meet that cat!’ but then I kept scrolling! What a great post with some serious skillful photography, well done!
I laughed out loud of the shot of them waving back at the wedding venue. Haha.
Such gorgeous photographs, I have to say though you are killing me with those cat ones, soooo cute! The ceremony ones are fabulous too, the timing on the seagull one was perfect.
this is just freaking awesome…so much love in these photos, you did an awesome job!
Wow. Their day looks so beyond amazing. The first dance shot – amazing. Love the portraits.
Y’all. I can’t even START to talk about how gorgeous this wedding is, and how wonderfully you captured it! From the start with the kitty, to the awesome prism shot at the ceremony, to their beautiful couples’ photos on the pier (seriously, is that light FOR REAL??), I’m just in awe over here!! Beautifuuuuul.
These are so wonderful, I especially love seeing the earlier part of the day and the portraits before they’re dressed, we often don’t get to see that side of the wedding and it’s nice to get a glimpse into their daily life.
haha so many great moments throughout! Love the tones in your images.
It’s like being there myself. Beautifully captured <3 And the cats. Yeah, well. You have to love a blog post with cats and wedding combined. 😉
