We’d really love to shoot elopements more often. They’re so small and intimate and for us as photographers, we really enjoy being able to spend a long time alone with our couples creating very personal photographs.

There’s no rule that states that if you elope, you can’t have awesome wedding photos. Joelle and Darrell hired us for a Tuesday morning gathering on the beach with no one but an officiant and their two photographers. The morning fog was beautiful, and their ceremony was so personal and loving.

I really hope we get to shoot more elopements 🙂
