NJ Wedding Photographers | Lauren and Justin

I spent an entire day yesterday trying to narrow this blog post down, and finally I gave up. Forcing myself to blog less than this would be like saying “there are too many moments”… which is impossible.

Lauren and Justin’s wedding was one that I could easily say is unique, because they’re unique… and their families are truly two of a kind. I’m pretty positive that some of the things I heard, and saw that day will never happen again at any wedding ever. The entire day read like this: cry, smile, laugh, crazy, beautiful… repeat. It couldn’t have been scripted any better.

Lauren and I go way back, all the way back to doing henna tattoos at Six Flags when we were teenagers… when I met Justin and saw the way they acted together, I just couldn’t wait to photograph them. They are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. When you talk to them you just can’t help but smile… and laugh…

The outpouring of love from both of their families is unbelievable… and seriously could they be more in love?

The Mill at Spring Lake Wedding of Tracey and Nick

A few weeks ago we got to do something awesome and photographed Steve’s sister’s wedding…

I first met Tracey 10 years ago when I started dating Steve. She came home from work and found me straightening Steve’s then super long hair in the living room…

I’ve always wanted an older sister, and over the years Tracey became one to me. I finally had someone I could borrow a prom dress from, and someone who could keep secrets;-)

Tracey was also very picky, and rightfully so. She never fell for anyone in college and held off until she could find someone perfect. When she first met Nick she started glowing… she was so happy.

Nick is quirky (see photo of vitamin packs below) but a great guy. He’s perfect for Tracey and just like she welcomed me into her family years ago, I’m so excited about Nick now being a part of our family now too.

Needless to say I cried a lot on her wedding day, and so did Steve. He just about broke down before she walked up the aisle in both of their parents arms.

I’ve heard many times that you should never shoot a wedding for family, and I think in most cases that applies… but when there are certain moments that only a brother and sister-in-law could catch (like Tracey’s smirk to Steve before she walked up the aisle,) it just had to be us…

A few notes… Nick is a fan of vitamins, Tracey loves wine and her leopard print shoes, my father-in-law loves watching the ocean, my mother-in-law never drinks, and those are baby Sofia’s very first steps…

The details were perfect and I love the bride and groom shots!

Tyler - October 29, 2012

foreground shots are rad. nice work.

Jessie - October 29, 2012

So many beautiful shots..I love the one where they’re(bride/groom) sitting down and leaning in to each other (near the bottom–6 up from bottom). Even the picture of the Bride with the hairspray coming out and silhouette of her face..creative pic. The two turtles is cute, awww..so symbolic! The groom with the Emergen-C packs made me laugh…and the lady with the black shirt arm-in-arm w/other arm up in the air, dancing w/another lady made me laugh..I can picture her saying “oooh yeaaaah” when she’s dancing..lol..great work you guys!!! :-)

Louie Abellera - October 29, 2012

I love this couple, they make getting married look.. COOL. I love the red everywhere, the flowers, the bride! The bride looks so pretty and cool, all at the same time. The bride reminds me of a dark angel pin-up, soft and feminine, but with an edge!!! The groom looks great too, I like how they were rocking the lip piercing and tattoos.

Jouni - October 28, 2012

Love the colors. I Bet this is going to be heavy ;)

mtmstudio - November 30, 2012
