We spent the late morning on Monday with Kelli and Roger at Branch Brook Park in Newark. We had a blast, to say the least, and I’m not just saying that either, wait until you see how much fun these two had.
They also told us all about the wild parrots of Edgewater… we had no idea that NJ had parrots.

It’s Spring time and the weather is finally beautiful!
I’m so glad we decided to do a mini session weekend. We got to see so many awesome couples, new families, established families, and cute doggies
. We had so much fun with everyone!
Since it was such a success, we’re hoping to do another set of mini sessions in the fall if we can find a wedding free weekend

This job allows us to meet a lot of interesting and amazing people. When Cornelius first friended us on Facebook, we immediately learned how awesome of a person he is. He’s always posting positive and motivational messages, and when we met him for his fitness shoot we noticed that his attitude carries over into real life. He just a positive person to be around.
He started getting into fitness with health in mind, and that says a lot especially for someone his age to know how important health is. He’s also done the majority of his exercises at a park local to Rutgers where he goes to school… how amazing is that? He just proves that you don’t need to go to a gym to get in amazing shape… he also works 3 jobs in addition to being a full time student… feel lazy yet? I do.
Also, if you need another reason to think that Cornelius is an awesome person, check out the marks on his knees… one is from when he fell while volunteering over his Spring Break for Hurricane Sandy recovery and another is from when he fell during a Tough Mudder and ~ close your eyes and don’t read the next part if you have a weak stomach ~ the bone was showing through the skin but he finished the race anyway…
