A few months ago, Elissa, a friend of ours who is an awesome photographer down in Austin, TX, said that she would be taking a trip to NYC and wanted to do a boudoir session. We honestly don’t do many boudoir sessions, but we do fitness sessions, and that’s that style Elissa was interested in… so I put a twist on it and incorporated that style into her boudoir session (which really wasn’t hard because, well, look at her, she looks amazing!)

From my perspective as a photographer, photographing other photographers can be intimidating. I always want to produce work that my clients love and that I’m proud of, and admittedly when doing that for a fellow photographer, there is a part of me that is looking to impress as well. As intimidating as that can be, however, I was equally as excited.

From my perspective as a woman, Elissa is not only beautiful, but her confidence is very inspiring.

… and yes, she squats…
