Steve and I often talk about how on the surface, family sessions appear to be most important to the parents, but its likely their children who will hold these photos closest many years from now. Knowing that we’re responsible for preserving memories for our couples and families is very inspiring, but what makes it even more amazing is being able to document their lives as they progress and knowing that their children will remember these moments too. We first photographed Marcus when he was 6 months old, now he’s two years older and even cuter (if you can believe that,) and we know that this wont be the last time. Over the years we’ve become close with the Kelnhofers (who have added a puppy, Dune, to the family,) they’re great people and great friends.
