nj wedding photographers | the south gate manor wedding of Sam & Aaron

Its so genuine when someone is so overwhelmed by their emotions that they cry. As photographers, we strive to document raw and genuine moments, expressions, and feelings, and when someone is crying, we know we are witnessing just that. Lucky for us, Samantha is a crier 🙂

Sometimes things work out really well. Most of our couples book us 6 months to 1 year out. Sometimes, we book last minute weddings, but by the time those couples get to us, we are often not available for their date. You can imagine how happy we were when we got an email in July from Samantha and Aaron about a September date we were still available for.

There are a lot of things from their wedding day we can write about, like how excited Aaron was when he opened the black Movado watch that he really really wanted, or how Samantha was really calm but knew when to use her “type A” personality to round up their families for photos, but instead, I’ll write about an email that made us smile.

We always want everyone to be happy, and even though we are confident in our work, whenever we post a teaser, or send a bride their gallery, we anxiously wait to hear their feelings about their photos. So when Samantha emailed us to tell us that the teaser we posted on Facebook made her cry (happy crying) it made our day. She continued to tell us how we made her feel at ease, how much she trusted us (even though she has a “type A” personality), and how happy she was that she found us and we were available for her wedding. How can we not feel amazing after reading all of that?

It also feels amazing to know that Samantha will most like cry when she sees this blog post. Here you go Samantha and Aaron. We hope you enjoy 🙂
