Today is the morning after Michelle and Scott’s wedding, and I can’t stop smiling.
I’ve never written a pre-edited blog post before, but I can’t stop thinking about what an incredible family they are. I haven’t even looked at the photos yet…
They’re both school teachers, in fact, that’s where they met. They work together and they believe in spending as much time with your significant other as possible. Like us, they believe that they are at their happiest when they’re together all the time.
I could go on and on about Michelle saving ferrel kittens, or Scott coaching soccer, but none of that really touches the surface of who this couple is. The moment we met Michele and Scott we fell in love, and I don’t mean with just their story, we really love them, and when we walked into their home yesterday morning, we were immediately treated like family, by Michelle and Scott, and by Scott’s two very loved children, maid of honor and best man, Em and Ty. That’s when I realized that the theme of the day wasn’t so much about a dress, or their cute matching shoes, or a even a wedding, but a marriage… it was about family and unconditional love. That’s what defines Michelle and Scott, their unconditional love for each other and their commitment to their family.
They are pieces of a puzzle called life, and they fit together perfectly. They are the perfect example of best friends in love.
