In this business we get the privilege of meeting a lot of great people. Rebecca and Jason are one of those couples that when you’re in their presence, you have a hard time figuring out how they went through life before they met each other… because an entire half of them truly must have been missing. Its an cliche phrase to say that two people complete each other, but when we would tell them where to stand for their portraits, before we could give them any more instructions they were already embracing on their own creating perfect moments. At one point on a whim they even practiced their choreographed first dance in front of the NYC skyline. For us as photographers, it doesn’t get much better than that.
Their wedding was at the Liberty House in Jersey City on an August day with an almost hard to believe vibrant blue sky. Rebecca’s brother Nathan played guitar as Rebecca walked up the aisle on the arms of both of her parents. Their beautiful ceremony, in front of one of the most perfect backdrops in the world, was performed by Rebecca’s long time friend and Rabbi, Isabel, who had everyone laughing and crying.
As for their reception… well I’ll let it speak for its self…
